Design and responsible implementation of the research project "Aerodynamic investigations of the innovative lift/propulsion system Vortifer"
Relevant research questions on the topic of rotor-vortex-system interaction, wall jet formation and shape optimization
Performing simulations and sensitivity studies including validation and verification
Developing a system design process and performing optimization as well as feasibility and scalability studies
Writing of scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences
A doctoral project is welcomed and supported
Master's degree or diploma in aerospace/mechanical engineering or comparable field
Proved background, depending on the specific research area above, preferably in the research field of fluid dynamics, aerodynamics and modelling & simulation
Solid experiences with aerodynamic modelling (above all RANS modelling)
Very good knowledge of German or English (C1), both written and spoken
Strong communication and teamwork skills, high level of initiative/responsibility and good organizational skills
