Your tasks

• Design and responsible implementation of the research project: "Control of the innovative propulsion system: Vortifer"
• Relevant research questions on the topic of intelligent control for underactuated mechanical systems
• Building a 6DOF flight mechanics system simulation including validation, verification and robustification of the overall system considering all relevant nonlinearities
• Designing a proper servo mechanism to perturbe COG and sizing effects and performing sensitivity analysis
• Writing of scientific publications and participation in national and international conferences
• A doctoral project is welcomed and supported

Your profile

• Master's degree in electrical engineering/aerospace engineering/ mechanical engineering/informatic or comparable field
• Proved background, depending on the specific research area above, preferably in the research field of control theory simulation and reinforcement learning
• Solid experiences with simulation tools (e.g. Matlab/Simulink)
• Very good knowledge of German or English (C1), both written and spoken
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, high level of initiative/responsibility and good organizational skills
