Head of HR DACH & Nordics (m/f)

Main duties & responsibilities:

•   Responsible for leading and running a professional and business focused HR function for 150 employees in DACH and for the Nordics territory office

•   Providing a full HR generalist service; advice, support and execution to the business on recruitment, labour law, HR operations, performance management and all other HR matters

•   Develop and improve key local HR processes to support the business

•   Payroll liaison for the respective countries together with Finance and in close cooperation with the external payroll providers

•   Professional collaboration with the works council

•   Ensuring compliance with local employment legislation at all times

•   All aspects of managing, motivating and developing a small local HR team.

Voraussetzungen

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant job experience
  • Relevant job experience in a fast paced environment and providing HR support to Sales and Marketing both highly beneficial
  • Fluent German and excellent English language skills (written and oral)
  • Sound knowledge of German Labour Law required having worked for the respective countries as well as dealing with works council and the Works Constitution Act in Germany
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Team player with ability to integrate in an international working environment
  • High service ethics and customer orientation
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and with ambiguity
  • Experienced and comfortable working simultaneously in a strategic and operational capacity
  • Process oriented with an adaptable style to bring positive outcomes in both formal and informal settings
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
  • Experience in all aspects of managing, motivation and developing a small local HR team
  • Strong knowledge of using MS office products
  • Experience using HR Systems: use with SuccessFactors advantageous
  • University degree (BA, MSc, MA, PhD) in Business Administration (ideally with focus on HR & Organizational Development) or in Commercial Law
  • Willingness to travel as maybe required.
